Come and celebrate life in our community

ATTENDING SUNDAY MASS - ALL WELCOME

We acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people, the traditional owners and custodians, who have walked upon and cared for this land for thousands of years.  We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationships of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of reconciliation.

Welcome to the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul at Bulimba.

The parish covers Bulimba, Balmoral, Hawthorne and part of Morningside.  It is bordered by the Brisbane River between Norman Creek and Taylor Street, and extends back to Thynne Road.  Beautiful as the geographical area is, however, the Catholic community which lives here actually makes up the parish.

The parish gathers to celebrate Eucharist three times each Sunday and many people take part as readers, musicians, communion ministers, sacristans and in other ways.  While the Mass is the heart of parish life, there are many other activities which help to make the ministry of Christ present in our area.

As time goes on, we hope that you could get to know some of the other parishioners and that you would be nourished in your faith by sharing in the life of Sts Peter and Paul’s.

God bless,
Fr Kevin
