READER

Those who can speak well in public and who proclaim the Scriptures at Sunday Mass. Regular monthly roster.

COMMUNION MINISTER

Helping distribute communion at Sunday Mass, both the consecrated bread and the cup. Regular monthly roster.

MUSICIAN / SINGER

Organist, keyboard or guitar player, lead singer – all helping the assembly to sing at Mass. Regular monthly roster.

ALTAR SERVER

Young people (10-17 years) assisting at Sunday Mass with books, vessels, candles, etc. Regular monthly roster.

LEADER: CHILDREN’S LITURGY

Celebrating the Liturgy of the Word with children at the 8 am Mass each week. Regular monthly roster.

SACRISTAN

Helping to open and close the church for Mass and weddings; setting up and putting away the vessels, etc for the liturgy.

HOSPITALITY / COLLECTIONS

Greeting people informally at the church door and distributing handouts as required. Taking up the collections during Mass.

ART AND CHURCH DECOR

Preparing flowers, banners and other decorations in and around the church for special seasons and rites.

LITURGY PREPARATION COMMITTEE

Meeting monthly to prepare the parish liturgy for Sundays and sacraments; coordinating the various liturgical ministries. Members: Fr DrTom Elich, Sister Mary Randle, Terry Killian, Adela White, Carmel Lindsay, Terry Ballentine, and Julia Collins. 

MEDITATION REFLECTION GROUP

A group, meeting weekly on Wednesday morning, to spend an hour together in meditation and prayerful reflection.
