The parish has a debt of over $300,000 which costs $40,000 per year to repay. On top of this, look around and estimate

n the cost of insurance and wages.

n the cost of maintaining and improving the parish buildings and site.

n the running costs of such a large place.

n the costs of undertaking new pastoral initiatives.

YOUR HELP

Your financial contribution to the parish planned giving program will ensure that the church of Sts Peter and Paul will be here for you week in and week out, offering pastoral care and spiritual inspiration for every moment in your life.

To ensure a regular reliable income for the parish, we are asking you to make a pledge. How much can you contribute each week? Your spare change helps a bit but really does not make much difference. Your committed gift will make an enormous difference to the work the parish is able to do in our local area. Consider, for example, giving one hour’s salary each week. Some parishioners are doing this already. Will you join them? Your pledge will let the parish plan for the future.  Click here to see a Planned Giving brochure.

Please contact the parish office to ask for a set of envelopes that you use each week at Mass when the collections are taken up. Or you may find it much more convenient to arrange a recurrent periodic payment by Credit Card or Direct Debit. In this way, you know it is done regularly, you have a record of it and we don’t have to count and bank the money! Click here to see how your contributions are spent.
